Coqui Coqui | The Only One Suite Collection | MESON DE MALLEVILLE VALLADOLID
A place where time stands still, Valladolid is a deeply rooted and mystical city that serves as a product of pre-hispanic and colonial culture and tradition. Within this colorful, colonial town of Valladolid, Meson de Malleville is a beautiful 16th century home located directly across from the historical Convent of San Bernardino de Siena. As the former home of Coqui Coqui’s founders, Francesca and Nicolas, Mesón de Malleville lovingly opens its doors to guests in the spirit of warmth and family. Working to renovate and restore the enchanting building, the couple maintained the original Moorish tile floors, walls and high ceilings with wooden beams from the 1600’s. Here, they raised their children and welcomed family & friends from all over the world. It has been a well-lived family home, always filled with joy and love.
Mesón de Malleville also features the home and travel line of Oficios Artesanos in a stunning boutique, an outdoor café serving freshly brewed coffee and tisanas, where guests can enjoy a freshly brewed coffee, a steaming herbal & floral infusion, or even one of our cacao, honey and vanillas.
Find peacefulness with a unique spa experience at La Perfumeria that showcases the scents of Yucatán. Whatever your desire, Coqui Coqui Meson de Malleville welcomes you, as a discreetly elegant and sophisticated refuge, a place where life slows down and opens up to a new dimension of rustic luxury and wonder.

A project of Taller LU’UM, the quaint boutique hotel Monte Uzulu opened its doors to guests in 2019.
Nestled between the hills of the small fishing and surf town, San Agustinillo, Monte Uzulu was designed with the surrounding nature in mind. The structure itself utilizes hardwood detailing for both doors and furniture, cement walls stained with earthen pigments, a palapa palm roof, as well as water catchment, greywater and bio digestor systems. During construction, many of the trees in the thousand-year-old forest of the property were left standing, including several iconic Pochote trees.
