Each month we dedicate an issue to one destination. Sign up before the 15th of the month to receive next issue. Your envelope is assembled and posted by the end of the month.

The 15th of each month. Subscribe after the 15th and your first issue will be the following month's destination.
Example: If you sign up before June 15th, your first issue will be the July issue. While if you sign up by June 30th, your first issue will be the August issue.

We post all issues between the 28th and 31st of each month. Delivery within Europe typically takes a few weeks . International deliveries can take up 4 weeks depending on location.

Yes. Hôtel Weekend Post ships worldwide. International subscribers are warmly welcome.

A monthly subscription is €12/month. An annual subscription is €99/year — the equivalent of two issues free. Both options can be gifted.

Yes, and it makes a particularly good one. At checkout, enter the recipient's address and we'll send the first issue directly to them.

Every envelope contains the same four elements, each specific to that month's destination: an editorial letter, a collectible postcard (original photography or illustration), a suitcase sticker, and a pocket city guide — five places, written the way a well-traveled friend would tell you.

Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime before the 15th of the month to avoid being charged for the next issue. Annual subscribers can cancel before their renewal date. We don't offer refunds on issues already in production.
Monthly subscribers: Log into your customer account (click ‘Log In’ at the top. of this page), navigate to your account details, and select ‘Cancel.’
Annual subscribers: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable.

Each issue is a surprise, and part of the pleasure is being taken somewhere you might not have chosen yourself.

No. Envelopes are sent without tracking — by post, with a stamp, the way letters have always been sent. Part of what makes a letter special is the time it takes to reach you. The anticipation of it. The small ceremony of finding it there, when you had almost forgotten to expect it.

Postal times vary, and occasionally a letter takes the scenic route. If your issue hasn't arrived within three weeks of the shipping date, write to us at post@hotel-weekend.com and we'll make it right.

Founding members are the first subscribers. They receive a slightly different first issue — a welcome letter from Natalia alongside the first destination — and their annual rate is locked in at the founding price regardless of future price changes.
