Set in Miami’s vibrant Cuban heart, Life House is located in a historic 1920 tropical mansion just minutes from Calle Ocho, the neighborhood’s main street. The hotel features 33 rooms all inspired by typical Havana mansions, filled with vintage furniture, Afro-Cuban ceramics, collected books and plants that transport you to 1950s Cuba.

Life House Little Havana offers rooms starting at $119,

including queens, doubles, king suites and bunk bed rooms for group travelers.

Coming soon to the hotel’s ground floor, Parcela is a vegetable-forward cafe, offering dishes and drinks inspired by the urban agriculture movement of Havana, Cuba and Miami’s rich fabric of Latin cuisine. In late spring 2019, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and bar opens with Latin-infused street foods and vibrant color palettes inspiring its menu and design. Life House Little Havana will also feature a rooftop food forest, from which ingredients will be sourced and used throughout the hotel’s menus.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: LITTLE HAVANA

“Little Havana is the colorful center of Hispanic culture in Miami. The area is riddled with Latin-inspired cafes, restaurants, venues and markets that give space and a voice to all the different backgrounds that have taken root in the neighborhood. On the last Friday of each month, Little Havana hosts Viernes Culturales, or Cultural Fridays, a monthly gallery night showcasing the cultural arts scene of the neighborhood.”
