The most traditional Café in Madrid
Glorieta de Bilbao, 7
Born in 1887, Café Comercial is one of the most traditional cafés in Madrid.
Recently re-opened, you will find a mix of classic and modern, inspired by the intellectual cafés of Paris (think Midnight in Paris) and decorated with honey leather chairs, deep petrol blue walls, marble tables and the most beautiful lamps. This is one of the classic meeting places in the city, where the locals - mostly creative people, artists, writers, and more - come to spend the afternoon, drink coffee, eat tapas and be inspired.
The new renovated café features beautiful furniture, including a Sonia Rykiel x Rubelli couch, Thonet chair mixed with actual B&B, wallpapers from Anaglypta, tassel lamps from Madrid in Love... For the food, the cook Pepe Roig was the one in charge of the concept and menú creation., offering an all-day menú so you can have churros con chocolate for breakfast, a bacalao al pil pil for lunch, coffee and tapas in the middle of the day, and, go home after enjoying some cocktails.
