The Barcelona Brunch Guide (pt.1)

What would a weekend be without brunch? Sad, and boring. I love brunch, because I love breakfast but also love to sleep. Ever since Earth's greatest inventors first imagined a meal between breakfast and lunch, that ALSO allows mimosas, this planet is a better place. Please let us guide you to the best spots in town for a kick-ass weekend brunch.

Granja Petit Bo

PASSEIG SANT JOAN 82, 08009 BARCELONA

Top treat: The Dark Chocolate & Banana pancakes are a must if you love sweet like me. If not, Caesar salad is delicious and Curry Chicken as well. I don't like eggs, but apparently Benedict eggs with salmon are amazing.

Taranná

VILADOMAT, 23, 08015 BARCELONA

You can find this little café in Sant Antoni, one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Barcelona. Top treat: Must order the truffled eggs, yogurt fruit bowl, pain au chocolat & the toast with feta cheese, pesto and tomatoes. Grab a Red velvet cake too, please!

Just in front of Taranná, Café Cometa offers a varierty of sandwiches and a good terrace., the place is small but beautifully decorated Nordic style. Top treat: Goldie, Veggie, and definitely the cakes.

Brunch & Cake

I already told you about this place but it's worth a repeated post. Top treat: Chicken Super Sandwich & juices.

Auto Rosellón

Carrer del Rosselló, 182, 08008 Barcelona

Home of the little kitchen of my dreams, Auto Rosellón is a recently reformed garage in the Eixample. Top treat: Roast Beef toast with caramelised onion, & the Beef Carpacio.

Ugot

Carrer de Viladomat, 138, 08015 Barcelona

The flamingo wallpaper and open kitchen will make you fall in love. Personally, I am not fan of vintage designed places but somehow this places has my heart <3 Top treat: Those cakes!!

Federal Café

Carrer de Parlament 39, 08015 Barcelona

You can find Federal in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia & Girona. In Barcelona, two spaces: Sant Antoni and Gòtic. The owners make this place special with its nordic inspired design, always full of fresh flowers, beautiful light, new magazines and great people. Top treat: Bruschetta with hummus and espinach, French toast with caramelised banana and dark chocolate, & the burger.
