California Roadtrip: Chapter 3 – Yosemite National Park
Arriving to Yosemite National Park was fun. We made our way inside as our flat, golden views transformed into moss embroidered boulders and tall forests. The place is so overwhelming that every clean breath you take in at Yosemite is later seized back from you when staring at those –literally- breathtaking views. I’ve never been more in awe of nature. Honestly. Ever. Not even having grown up with beautiful ocean views. Yosemite is such a special place and has such an energy that I would go back to it a million times (plus I pet a deer. Of course I’d fall in love with the place).
We didn’t stay over, but know that Evergreen Lodge and The Ahwahnee Hotel are a good go to.
Glacier Point (about an hour drive from the entrance but worth it), Mirror Lake, river-side picnic with El Capitan and Half Dome views.
